PinkRoccade Local Government has been a fixture for local governments in the Netherlands for more than 70 years. The company plays an important role in the transformation of municipal services, offering innovative software solutions, apps and digital platforms that help municipalities better serve citizens. The role of municipalities is changing and almost all services will be digital in the future. The front desk will remain available only for exceptional cases. To support this digital transformation, PinkRoccade is working with Databalance on the continuity, security and stability of their IT infrastructure.
Customer perspective
Continuously working on quality
“We specialize in software for municipal government. The continuity of our systems directly determines the continuity of municipalities. Therefore, everything is focused on getting the quality and security of our services to the highest possible level. The cooperation with a specialized partner like Databalance is crucial in this. They have the people, knowledge and resources to support us in the transition of municipalities and the high demands placed on them.”
Face at every level
“For us it is essential that we can move quickly at any level. We want to solve problems before municipalities suffer. At Databalance, we have direct lines and governance at all levels. We know the people and faces, from the help desk to the management. That personal contact and those short lines of communication set Databalance apart from other companies.”
Impact and stability
“We are responsible for the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) of 172 municipalities. This means that the data of 7.4 million Dutch citizens are on our systems. The availability and security of these systems are therefore of great social importance. Therefore, it is nice to build and rely on the stability of Databalance’s managed infrastructure. They achieve an uptime of 99.99%, which is extremely good and provides exactly the security needed for our services.”
The collaboration between PinkRoccade and Databalance goes beyond managing a managed infrastructure and a good governance structure. We also have contact outside the monthly meetings and continuously spar about security, privacy and compliance. By sharing knowledge and engaging in open conversation, full context is created. This helps us jointly raise the bar and improve the quality of service on both sides. This is not limited to formal agreements on paper, but rather lies in the personal relationships and in-depth knowledge sharing.
