At Databalance, we process personal data to deliver our products and services, make improvements, provide support, send notifications, offers and promotions. Some data are also processed when you visit our site. Safeguarding your privacy is of course central to this. That is why we want to inform you through this page about the data we collect, why we do that, what options and rights you have as an end user and how we protect your data.

What data do we collect?

In order to perform the agreement you have with us or for the sake of enabling our business operations, we collect the following information:
  • Your first name, last name and business address information.
  • Your e-mail address that you use to contact us.
  • If you sign up for the newsletter only, we will use your e-mail address exclusively to send you this newsletter.
  • When you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your email address will be removed from our mailing list.
  • The phone number you use to contact us with.
  • The IP address of the device you use to visit our sites with or login to the systems or applications hosted on our infrastructure.
  • Your login information and customer number for the purpose of our records.
  • The payment information provided by you, which is necessary to settle the account.
We share this data with third parties only when there is a legal basis for doing so or when we have a cooperation agreement. Examples include the tax authorities, a collection agency or a sub-supplier whose services you purchase through us. We do not retain the personal data we collect any longer than is necessary for the purpose of data processing or required by the relevant laws and regulations.

Personal data security

When processing this data, we ensure appropriate security of personal data. For example, we use TLS encryption when data is sent over the Internet, we limit our employees’ access to data, we ensure that our systems and applications are as secure as possible, and we update our systems regularly. In addition, we are ISO27001 and NEN7510 certified and we are continuously working on raising our information security measures to a higher level. Questions, comments and your rights

If you are curious about what information we have collected about you, if you would like it corrected or deleted, or if you believe that we should not collect certain information, please send us a message. We will process your request within one month. Does it turn out that your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant? Then you can make an additional request to have your data changed or completed. Analytical cookies

We use these cookies to better track the behavior of visitors to our site.

_ga 2 years This cookie is set by Google Analytics. The cookie is used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data and track site usage for the site’s analytics report. The cookies store information anonymously and assign a randomly generated number to identify unique visitors.
_gid 1 day This cookie is set by Google Analytics. The cookie is used to store information about how visitors use a website and helps create an analytics report of how the website is doing. The data collected, including the number of visitors, the source they came from and the pages visited in an anonymous form.
As you can see, we use the Google Search Console to analyze which pages are most visited, how visitors got to our website and what search terms are used to find us. We also use Google’s reCAPTCHA (version 3) to counteract hackers and bots. Google’s privacy policy regarding these services can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy. To safeguard the use of the Google services, we have also concluded a Processor Agreement with Google. This is the standard agreement that Google offers to end users.
